Cheryl Wicker, is a dedicated nurse practitioner with over 40 years of clinical experience. Cheryl also serves as a professor in nurse practitioner programs, specializing in both family practice and adult/geriatric care. Her practice is rooted in a deep personal understanding of complex medical conditions, shaped by her family's experiences with Alzheimer's, early cardiovascular disease, and mold illness.

Cheryl recognizes that chronic illness and feeling unwell are multifaceted issues, often with numerous underlying causes. She understands that past treatments may not have worked because of this complexity. In her practice, Cheryl partners with her patients to explore the root causes of their health challenges, providing treatment recommendations tailored to their unique circumstances and genetics. She believes that every individual deserves to be heard, understood, and provided with an individualized plan of care.

Cheryl's approach is grounded in the belief that the body has the ability to heal when given the right tools and when toxicities that hinder the healing process are removed. With a long history as a primary care provider and a collaborative spirit, she looks forward to working with your medical team to support your journey to better health.

Alix Wicker is a Duke University and Bredesen certified health and wellness coach who works to defy and exceed expectations.  When her own health failed in 2019, she was forced to grapple with the fact the medical system could not provide her with the answers she needed.  After discovering she was suffering from a toxic mold-related illness, she dedicated herself to finding the path back to health — including reversing her numerous cognitive symptoms.  Becoming healthy again meant dropping her old ways of doing things and find new ways to survive – and later thrive! This process of relearning has given her a deep sense of self, a newfound sense of patience, abundant compassion for others and herself, and the desire to share all she has learned with her clients.  She is a voracious learner who seeks to understand the “why” behind everything.  This curiosity extends to her clients: she looks forward to hearing your unique story and helping your create solutions that are just right for you.  Her coaching goal is to help all her clients learn how to dig deeper, discover their own power, and become more vibrant, capable, and whole.
